Job Description

At Scortex, we're building the future of quality control in manufacturing — and we’re looking for a Senior Account Executive with a strong technical background who's ready to lead from the front.

To succeed here, you must combine solid technical foundations with an exceptional ability to sell. You'll need to thrive in the field, close high-value deals, and genuinely understand the industrial environments our customers operate in.

🔥 What you’ll do

Own the Sales Process

You’ll drive the full cycle — from initial outreach to negotiation and closing — and work hand-in-hand with our product, tech, and customer success teams to deliver tailored solutions that truly solve problems.

Develop & convert Leads

  • Strategically reach out to manufacturing companies through cold and warm channels

  • Convert inbound leads and product-led users into enterprise upsells

Drive customer value

  • Turn successful Proof of Concepts into long-term, high-revenue contracts

  • Design and execute smart sales strategies that align with customer priorities

  • Lead negotiations with the backing of our legal and finance experts

Bridge the technical and commercial worlds

  • Leverage your engineering background to build credibility with technical stakeholders such as quality managers, process engineers, and plant directors

  • Understand and clearly communicate the value of Scortex's vision inspection solutions at a level that goes beyond a standard pitch

  • Guide clients through pre-sales, deployment, and post-deployment phases alongside our tech and customer success teams

🎯 What we’re looking for

You're a closer first. You hold an engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification, ideally in industrial engineering, automation, mechatronics, or a related field. You have developed strong commercial skills over time and now combine both worlds naturally. You get energy from winning deals, you think like a strategist, and you are excited about the challenge of scaling a company that is reshaping manufacturing quality control.

Preferred Experience

Experience

  • 3-7 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally involving a highly complex, technical product

  • Had the opportunity to run tough negotiations for closing

  • Experience within the manufacturing industry, complex sales and long sales cycle is a plus

Mindset

  • Continuous improvement driven, you aim to continuously improve our process and playbook

  • Product driven, you aim to give feedback to our product team on every customer insights you can get your hands on

  • Team player, you are used to communicating and brainstorming with your team about the contacts and accounts you target

  • Curiosity about industrial world and processes

Skills

  • Fluent in Italian and English; French language is a bonus

  • Excellent academic background with a Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Outstanding negotiation and communication skills
