Cede Labs is a promising 6-people startup backed by GSR and Ledger building CEX (Binance, Coinbase,…) asset management tools for both the institutional market and the consumer market. The team has been accumulating more than 3 years of expertise on CEX connectivity.

Today, Cede Labs offers two main products:

- Cede SDK: a CEX connectivity solution that accelerates integration for crypto custody solutions with exchange platforms.

- Key interlocutors: Crypto custody solutions and their clients: hedge funds, prime brokers, market makers, stablecoins, OEMS,…

- Cede Hub: a solution for token issuers listed on CEX, to generate organic off-chain trading volume through competitions on hub.cede.store, where we reward users on-chain for off-chain actions.

- Key interlocutors: Token issuers, market makers, CEX and traders.

Job Description

N.B: You will be working exclusively on the Cede Hub / Off-chain Organic Volume for Token Issuers product, at least at the beginning.

Mission

  • Reach:

    • Identify and engage potential acquisition funnels (Market Makers, Launchpads, VCs, CEX listing managers, Marketing companies,…) and clients (token issuers)
    • Establish outbound and inbound strategies depending on targeted personas
    • Build relationships with stakeholders (networking conferences, irl meetings,…)
  • Nurturing:

    • Develop and maintain acquisition funnels for new inbound introductions
    • Understand and address client pain points and showcase our solution through case studies/testimonials
    • Develop our internal understanding of the market (ex: refine our client personas, wash trading case studies, CEX listing required KPIs, CEX delisting KPIs, …)
  • Closing:

    • Lead pricing discussions with prospects and tailor proposals to meet client needs
    • Work with our legal/operational team to draft contracts and initiate signing
    • Ensure we receive initial rewards and payments
  • Post-closing:

    • Ensure the token issuer is satisfied with the launched campaign by gathering honest feedback. Act promptly to resolve any issues or concerns raised by the client.
    • Monitor liquidity performance on the exchange’s order books and ensure campaign goals are met.
    • Investigate underperforming campaigns by engaging power users and coordinating with market makers to adjust spreads and liquidity.
    • Prepare for new trading campaigns by:

      • Collaborating on social media posts and promotional activities.
      • Setting up trading rules and providing ongoing support for the partner’s social strategy.
    • Provide regular updates and reporting to clients on campaign results.

    • Community engagement with our traders userbase (daily interactions, feedback loop,…)

Preferred Experience

Requirements

  • Web3 Knowledge: A foundational understanding of Web3 concepts, including market makers (MM), CEX-DEX relationships, and token issuers' needs. Candidates should be able to grasp these concepts quickly, even if not deeply experienced.

  • Sales Experience: Proven track record in sales, that will particularly help in managing and closing multi-week campaigns (3-4 weeks) that lead to recurring revenue (MRR/ARR) with Cede Labs.

  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential, both written and spoken.

  • Personality Traits:

    • Energetic, approachable, and charismatic on calls. Must know how to sell themselves before selling the product. Building strong rapport with clients is key to securing deals and fostering long-term relationships.
    • Direct and persuasive, with the ability to guide clients toward solutions that align with their needs, even if the client is initially hesitant.
    • Hungry, competitive, willingness to be the best and push your KPIs and the company’s KPIs to the top
  • Availability and Organization:

    • Willingness to work weekends during campaigns to accommodate client needs, such as adjusting goals, updating campaign parameters, or managing CEX integrations.
    • Highly organized, capable of managing multiple campaigns, scheduling calls, documenting interactions in CRM tools, and ensuring no delays in communication.

Nice to have

  • Advanced Web3 Knowledge: Deeper expertise in finance-related Web3 topics, including the operations of market makers and token dynamics.

  • Partnership Development Experience: Background in building partnerships with key Web3 stakeholders like market makers, launchpads, or exchanges.

  • Multilingual Abilities: Fluency in additional languages to cater to a global client base.

  • CRM Expertise: Familiarity with CRM tools and systems to efficiently manage sales pipelines and client relationships.

  • Event Participation: Experience in representing companies at industry events, panels, or hackathons to promote products and network with potential partners.
