In an increasingly divided world, we aim to rehumanize and depolarize citizen dialogues. Mainstream social networks, designed to entertain, fail short at helping people become better citizens. Agora is purpose-built to facilitate meaningful large-scale discussions on important, often controversial issues.

Fully open-source, Agora leverages frontier technologies including ZK Proof of Humanity, bridging-based ranking algorithms, and decentralized protocols, that are revolutionizing how humans live and collaborate.

In summer 2024, we raised €167,000 in equity-free grants from Horizon Europe's Next Generation Internet (NGI) initiative.

We are launching the Beta product in February 2025 with plans to raise a seed round and expand our team.

Job Description

In preparation for our Product Launch in February 2025, we are looking for an intern to join us and work closely with our CEO, Yuting, to bring Agora to a wide global community.

Based in Paris but with team members all over the world, we welcome anyone to join us either remotely or in person.

Role Description

You can expect to spend 60% of your time related to marketing & communication and 40% of your time in strategic topics. You will work directly with the CEO to support strategic decision-making and execution of business initiatives related to

  • development and growth of the platform

  • content creation

  • community building

  • fundraising

Preferred Experience

You are...

  • curious. You don’t need to know everything but you should have a strong appetite to learn new things and improve skills

  • proactive & autonomous. You take initiatives and don't mind getting hands dirty.

  • creative and have some previous experience doing designs, videos, marketing or copywriting

  • fluent in English and ideally another language (preferably French, Spanish & Russian)

  • passionate about making an impact

Recruitment Process
