Job Description

Join a stellar team of leaders and experts in blockchain technology, cryptography, infrastructure, and security to build the backbone of blockchain wallet infrastructure for the next financial era. We’re hiring a Principal Solutions Engineer to help institutions, fintechs, and enterprises across the Americas adopt Dfns with confidence and ease. This role is hands-on and client-facing: you’ll design integrations for complex environments, guide customers through deployment, and provide end-to-end technical support. You’ll pair technical expertise with strong communication skills, serving as an advisor to CTOs, architects, and engineering teams. Expect to design tailored solutions, deliver technical proposals, troubleshoot issues in real time, and collaborate closely with our backend, security, and product teams to ensure successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Guide financial institutions and fintechs through seamless onboarding and integration.

  • Build secure, scalable deployment pathways that bridge legacy and modern systems.

  • Provide hands-on support: troubleshoot, fix, and build solutions alongside client teams.

  • Collaborate with sales on technical proposals, demos, and RFP responses.

  • Maintain and improve technical documentation and developer guides.

  • Gather client feedback and translate insights into product and API improvements.

  • Represent Dfns at conferences, workshops, and customer meetings.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in solutions engineering, forward-deployed engineering, enterprise integration.

  • Track record of helping institutions or enterprises deploy mission-critical systems.

  • Strong in TypeScript (or similar languages) with proven API experience (REST).

  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS essential; GCP/Azure/Thales a plus), microservices, and serverless architectures.

  • Skilled in troubleshooting complex issues and delivering under pressure.

  • Solid understanding of enterprise security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS).

  • Excellent communicator, able to bridge technical and business conversations.

  • Strong documentation, presentation, and demo skills.

  • Knowledge of blockchain, custody, and financial workflows strongly preferred.

  • Certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect) a plus; Spanish/Portuguese fluency valued.
