Job Description

Join a team of exceptional leaders (CEO, CPO, CTO) and skilled experts (Software Engineers, Head of Sales) to build the leading blockchain wallet infrastructure for the next financial era. We’re seeking a driven and resourceful Principal Solutions Engineer with expertise in technical architecture, client-facing solutions, APIs, fintech and blockchains. This role requires attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to perform under pressure with limited resources. As a Principal Solutions Engineer, you will combine technical expertise with sales skills to design, deliver, and present tailored solutions for fintechs and financial institutions. You’ll collaborate with clients and internal teams to define requirements, ensure successful integrations, and enhance technical documentation to industry-leading standards. With a deep understanding of blockchain wallet functionality and underlying technical foundations, you will provide solutions addressing client needs and guiding technical experts, from engineers to CTOs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client onboarding to ensure seamless solution adoption.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve client issues via chat or calls.

  • Collaborate with clients to deploy tailored solutions that meet their needs.

  • Create and deliver technical proposals for potential clients, both in writing and on calls.

  • Offer post-implementation support and suggest enhancements.

  • Gather client feedback to improve products and API documentation.

  • Analyze competitors to identify industry trends and opportunities.

  • Work with sales teams to plan and close strategic deals.

  • Oversee technical aspects of RFPs and RFIs.

  • Prepare pre-sales reports by analyzing trends and sales data.

  • Log client feedback to develop focused sales strategies.

  • Estimate project costs by reviewing client documents and consulting with the team.

  • Train and equip the sales team with support materials.

  • Use tools and technologies to boost productivity and enhance customer support.

  • Support sales and marketing by attending conferences, workshops, and events.

Requirements

  • 6+ years as a Solutions Engineer, Forward-Deployed Engineer, or similar role.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on time.

  • Proficient in TypeScript (or similar programming languages).

  • Experienced in implementing and configuring APIs (RESTful, GraphQL).

  • Skilled in troubleshooting technical issues and optimizing performance bottlenecks.

  • Familiar with backend, microservices, serverless architecture, and distributed services.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch).

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to advocate for ideas.

  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical people.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to build long-term relationships with clients.

  • Exceptional documentation abilities for creating technical guides and proposals.

  • Ability to create and deliver engaging presentations and product demos.

  • Focus on client requirements, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.

  • Team player who works well with different teams (e.g., sales, product, engineering).

  • Willingness to travel and continuously learn in sales and engineering fields.

  • Knowledge of the crypto custody industry and its use cases is a big plus.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is a plus.

  • Fluency in multiple languages is also a plus.

Terms

  • Title: Principal Solutions Engineer

  • Salary: $120,000-160,000 per year (full-time work contract).

  • Equity: 300-600 stock options (i.e., 0.1-0.2%) vested over 4 years.

  • Location: Eastern US or EU (fully remote with optional access to office)

  • Equipment: MacBook Pro and other work essentials.
