The Business Development Team at WhiteLab fuels our growth and innovation engine. In this pivotal role, you’ll be in communication with a diverse range of stakeholders, including biotech, pharmaceutical companies, and top-tier academics. Job Description

How You’ll Spend Your Time:

  • You’ll interact with a wide range of functions internally and externally

    (biotech and pharmaceutical companies, top notch academics) to

    understand and deliver on WhiteLab’s growth objectives.

  • You’ll research and report on our current landscape to identify relevant

    competitors, partners, clients and external growth opportunities in the field

    of genomic therapies.

  • You’ll participate in business development and prospecting activities for

    the commercialization of WhiteLab’s capabilities (i.e., customer discovery,

    market research).

  • You’ll identify and build relationships/leads with potential new partners

    and/or customers.

  • You’ll maintain WhiteLab’s customer relationship management system

    with companies, contacts and deals, generating insights from our network

    and deal flows.

  • You’ll participate with senior executives and management from

    prospecting to closing deals to negotiation.

  • You’ll prepare WhiteLab’s materials for internal decision meetings and

    external presentations in coordination with the marketing team.

  • You’ll elevate WhiteLab’s awareness of new growth opportunities (e.g.

    identification of relevant grants).

  • You’ll immerse yourself in the vibrant world of business events and

    conferences. From pre-event set-up to dynamic meeting preparation and

    post-event follow-up, you'll be at the heart of the action, shaping impactful

    experiences and making every moment count.

Preferred Experience

We Are Excited About You If...

  • You're enrolled in a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree program in Biology/(Bio)chemical Engineering/Computational Science/Business or hold a similar degree with a

    demonstrated passion or experience for business.

  • You’re thrilled to take deep-dive into the business of BioTech, DeepTech,

    and Data Science, especially in the realm of AI.

  • You bring hands-on experience, specialized expertise, or a deep enthusiasm

    for driving advancements in drug discovery and development, preferably

    with a focus in Biotech, Deeptech, and genomic therapies.

  • You’re a pro at task prioritization & organization and can thrive

    independently in a bustling scientific environment.

  • Your adept written and oral communication skills shine in internal

    meetings, in online correspondence, virtually, and during client

    presentations.

Recruitment Process

  • The standard process includes three main steps:

    • HR Screening: Conducted via call or video conference.
    • Team Interview: Conducted via video conference or on-site.
    • Final On-Site Interview: This can include various formats such as lunch meetings, a day-in-the-life experience, user case presentations, etc., depending on the situation.
