Job Description

As Founding Sales Leader US at Thunders, you will lead our expansion into the US market and build the commercial foundation for our next phase of growth.

Your mission will be to establish and scale our US go-to-market, win our first strategic customers, and build a high-performing sales team. You will initially operate as a player-coach: closing key deals yourself while designing the sales motion that will power our growth.

Working closely with the CEO, CRO and product teams, you will shape our US positioning, refine our enterprise sales strategy, and turn early traction into a scalable revenue engine.

This is a high-impact founding role for an entrepreneurial sales leader who thrives in fast-moving startup environments and wants to build a category-defining company in AI-powered software testing.

Preferred Experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Thunders’ US go-to-market, defining our ICP, positioning, and sales strategy for the market.

  • Own the full enterprise sales cycle, from pipeline generation to closing strategic deals with CTOs, CPOs, and VP Engineering.

  • Land our first flagship US customers and turn early traction into repeatable revenue.

  • Build and scale the US sales engine, including playbooks, pipeline generation, forecasting, and CRM discipline.

  • Hire and lead the US sales team as we scale (AEs, SDRs, partnerships).

Mandatory Requirements

  • 8+ years in B2B SaaS sales, with strong experience in enterprise deals

  • Proven track record closing complex deals with technical buyers (CTOs, VP Eng, etc.)

  • Experience launching or scaling a market, territory, or new product

  • Strong ability to build pipeline from scratch

  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and negotiation skills

  • Deep understanding of developer tools, testing, DevOps, or AI software ecosystems

  • Strong ownership mindset and entrepreneurial drive

  • Passion for AI and active use of AI tools in your daily work

  • Highly organized with strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline

  • Experience as Founding AE / Sales Leader at a startup

  • Experience selling developer tools, testing platforms, or DevOps products

  • Experience building US sales teams from 0→1

  • Strong network in engineering leadership communities

  • Experience with PLG + enterprise hybrid sales models
