About

Stories Across Borders (SAB) is a non-profit initiative that fosters global citizenship through the power of storytelling. The initiative connects audiences with inspiring speakers who share real-life experiences of living, working, and collaborating across cultures.

Job Description

Your role

We are looking for a Marketing Intern to help grow Stories Across Borders in Belgium and France. Your focus will be twofold: increasing audience partners (schools, universities, service clubs) and building brand awareness through consistent communication of our thought leadership and high quality event recap content.

You will work closely with the founders & other team members and collaborate through a fast rhythm: 2 to 3 touchpoints per week, plus async work in Notion and Google Docs. The role is best suited for someone who enjoys both content creation and partnership driven growth, and who wants to help build a meaningful initiative from within Station F.

What You’ll Do

Social Media and Content Creation

  • Publish 1 post per week on LinkedIn and 1 post per week on Instagram

  • Create compelling captions, visuals, and short videos based on our events and key messages

  • Produce event recap posts that highlight concrete insights, quotes, and learning moments

Partnerships and Community Growth

  • Support outreach to potential audience partners in Belgium and France

  • Help identify and engage relevant communities: universities, student organisations, service clubs, and education networks

  • Contribute to initiatives that drive speaker sign ups and audience interest

Distribution and Marketing Operations

  • Maintain a content calendar and propose topics and formats aligned with our positioning

  • Organise our existing media assets (photos, videos, brand kit) so content production becomes faster over time

  • Support the creation of testimonials and interview based content (recording and editing when relevant)

Analytics and Reporting (Nice to Have)

  • Track website traffic and social media performance (reach, engagement, clicks)

  • Create short reports with learnings and recommendations to improve future performance

Preferred Experience

Required

  • Bachelor or Master student

  • Professional level English

  • Strong interest in marketing, content, and community building

  • Ability to work in an agile way, take feedback well, and execute consistently

  • Comfortable working partly on site at Station F in Paris

Nice to Have

  • French and or Dutch

  • Ability to create simple visuals and short video edits (Canva, CapCut, Instagram Edits, or similar)

  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, WordPress, Google Analytics, and Notion

  • Comfort leveraging AI tools to support ideation, copywriting, editing, and workflow optimisation

What Makes You Stand Out

  • You can write in a tone that is inspirational and educational, while remaining credible and grounded

  • You have an eye for what makes an event recap genuinely interesting (not generic)

  • You enjoy building partnerships and communities, not just posting content

  • You like experimenting, learning from data, and improving each week
