Job Description

Kombo is already addressing the markets of France, Spain, Italy and Germany.

We are opening a Marketing Manager position to lead the business in Germany.

Your role:

Lead the acquisition of users on Kombo for the German market.

You will be responsible to grow the GMV to reach 1m€ per month within 2 years.

You need to have a real hands on experience on online advertising: Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and potentially other channels such as MS Ads, Youtube, Pinterest, TikTok, X, Snap, etc. So you master technical tools such as GTM or Google Sheets.

You also know how to create ads: copywriting, images / carousels, videos. So you are comfortable talking face cam on social media.

Besides paid acquisition, you will manage content marketing : create or optimize landing pages, write newsletters to thousands of clients, create videos for our Instagram / TikTok accounts in German, and in Spanish.

In addition, you should be skilled in SEO, or landing pages creation with our tool Stonlyblok.

You will also need to propose optimization for the product so that the overall conversion is at highest. Indeed, there can be specificities regarding train companies, cities & stations, classes descriptions, or discount cards.

You will work with the team, in particular the founders and the Marketing Manager.

Preferred Experience

  • 2-12 years experience in online acquisition, ideally in a fast growing company

  • Fluent in German languages & culture

  • Team spirit
