Founding Solutions Engineer

Job Description

As a Founding Solutions Engineer at Rippletide, you will be the critical bridge between our platform and the enterprise customers who depend on it. You will work hand-in-hand with technical stakeholders at Fortune 500 companies and high-growth startups to integrate Rippletide's hypergraph decision database into their most important workflows. This is a client-facing, deeply technical role where every engagement shapes both customer outcomes and the future direction of our product. You will be one of the first hires on the Solutions team, giving you an outsized influence on processes, tooling, and culture.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end technical engagements with enterprise clients, from initial discovery and architecture review through deployment, optimization, and ongoing support.

  • Design and implement custom integration solutions that connect Rippletide's hypergraph database with client data pipelines, internal APIs, and existing ML infrastructure.

  • Build reusable reference architectures, sample applications, and technical documentation that accelerate onboarding for new customers and partners.

  • Serve as the voice of the customer internally, translating real-world deployment challenges into actionable feedback for the Engineering and Product teams.

  • Conduct technical workshops, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements that demonstrate the value of hypergraph reasoning to executive and engineering audiences alike.

Preferred Experience

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in solutions engineering, technical consulting, or a customer-facing engineering role at a developer tools or infrastructure company.

  • Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, with the ability to read and contribute to codebases across the stack.

  • Experience integrating APIs, databases, and cloud services in complex enterprise environments — you are comfortable navigating SSO, VPCs, and compliance requirements.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for making complex technical concepts accessible to diverse audiences.

  • A self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements while maintaining attention to detail and follow-through.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with graph databases, knowledge graphs, or semantic data modeling.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML deployment workflows, including model serving, feature stores, or agent orchestration.

  • Background in a startup environment where you helped define processes and playbooks from scratch.
