We’re expanding our product portfolio and are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js to join our team. In this role, you will help build and scale our cloud service, which provides a marketplace for security solutions and product certification. This is a full-time position with the flexibility to work remotely, hybrid, or in-office from our location in France.
As a Senior Backend Developer, you will report directly to the Head of Engineering and be part of an agile, cross-functional team. You’ll take the lead in developing and maintaining the backend infrastructure, APIs, and services that support our platform. Experience with frontend development is a plus, as it will enhance collaboration with our frontend team and ensure a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs to support a highly scalable platform
Work with frontend developers to ensure smooth integration and user experience
Collaborate with a cross-functional, agile team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Implement robust, secure, and performant solutions in cloud environments
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)
Backend Expertise: Extensive experience in backend development with Node.js, building scalable, cloud-based services
Technical Proficiency:
Cybersecurity Awareness: Understanding of security best practices in backend development
