Head of Sales - US

Job Description

About Qevlar AI

Qevlar is a B2B SaaS scale-up on a mission to boost the productivity of cybersecurity teams with Artificial Intelligence. We build an AI platform that transitions Security Operations Centers from reactive to proactive units through autonomous security alert investigations.

In just two years, we have:

  • Raised a $14m initial round from EQT Ventures and Forgepoint Capital

  • Deployed our solution with major Enterprises such as Sodexo and GlobalConnect, and leading MSSPs like Orange Cyberdefense

  • Expanded to the US market with a growing North American presence

  • Ended 2025 with a strong multi-million dollar ARR and ambitious goals for 2026

We are looking for a Head of Sales to build and lead Qevlar’s US revenue organisation from early traction in the US to a predictable, enterprise-grade sales engine while personally closing landmark enterprise and MSSP deals.

What will you do

  • Close the first new US enterprise or MSSP deals personally

  • Build a qualified pipeline engine (clear ICP, repeatable outbound motion, measurable coverage)

  • Establish operating rhythm: weekly forecast, pipeline reviews, clear metrics

  • Hire initial team members (early AEs and/or BDRs)

  • Develop a clear narrative and positioning, adapted to the US market

By month 12:

  • Pipeline coverage across the top 100 target enterprises and MSSPs

  • Built a team of around 4 AEs and 4 BDRs

  • Forecast accuracy within acceptable variance

  • Developed fine-tuned, documented, and repeatable sales playbooks

  • Recognised internally as the clear owner of US revenue

You will own (end-end):

  • US ARR number

  • Pipeline generation and coverage

  • Enterprise deal execution

  • Hiring and performance management of US sales team

  • Forecasting discipline and reporting

  • Sales process, messaging refinement, enablement

  • US market feedback to Product and Marketing

You will influence:

  • Pricing strategy (CEO/Board approval required)

  • ICP definition (CEO/Board approval required)

  • Marketing allocation and priorities

  • Product roadmap prioritisation

Who you are

  • Comfortable being a player-coach

  • Calm in uncertainty

  • Direct and transparent

  • Commercially sharp without being reckless

  • High-character and ownership-driven

You have:

  • Built a new region or segment to meaningful ARR

  • Personally closed complex enterprise cybersecurity deals

  • Created a repeatable pipeline engine in an early-stage environment

  • Hired and developed strong enterprise AEs

  • Operated effectively with low brand recognition and evolving product

  • Maintained forecast discipline under ambiguity

This role may not be the right fit if you:

  • Only manage and do not personally close

  • Require strong brand recognition to win

  • Are used to large marketing budgets and inbound-heavy pipelines

  • Avoid ambiguity or evolving product environments

  • Prioritise title over building

Why join us

  • Work on meaningful problems with real-world impact in cybersecurity

  • A high-impact role in a small, international, fast-moving team where your contributions directly shape the company and its success

  • Shape the future of a product already making noise in AI + security circles

  • A company culture that values autonomy and creativity

  • Opportunity for equity and early ownership

  • We’re flexible on location - you can either work from home or join your colleagues in our beautiful office in Paris’ 9th arrondissement.

If you’re excited about helping security teams adopt cutting-edge AI, we’d love to hear from you. Let’s build the future of cybersecurity together!
