Backed by a16z speedrun 006 and F/ai, Prior Foundry builds continuous decision systems that help government teams bring together fragmented data, research, and stakeholder input to make better-informed policy choices. We combine AI and software with rigorous social-science methods so public-sector leaders can monitor current programs, simulate future scenarios, and act on real evidence.
The role
We are looking for someone with strong experience in the French public sector to help build and support our growing relationships with government partners in France. As we actively pursue partnerships with French public-sector organisations, you will serve as the credible point of contact for our government partners. This role is intended to sit at the intersection between our technical capabilities and the everyday realities of civil servants and policy advisors to help us navigate the French public-sector ecosystem.
Day to day, you'll:
Drive account support and stakeholder communication to build deep relationships with French government officials, civil servants, & policy advisors.
Navigate formal public-sector procurement, deployment, and decision-making processes in France.
Translate complex government workflows into business needs for our engineering team, while clearly communicating our software's capabilities to non-technical stakeholders.
Command trust in high-stakes meetings with senior officials, blending an understanding of policy and our technology.
You're a fit if you:
Are a student or early-career professional - such as a Master’s, MBA, MPP, or PhD candidate (or someone building something alongside this role) - looking for a substantive, flexible position rather than a standard role.
Have established previous experience working within the French government, ministries, or adjacent public institutions.
Possess strong technical literacy and product sense to effectively explain AI / platform offerings (coding skills are a plus, not a requirement).
Are an autonomous operator who thrives in an early-stage startup environment and can scope work without rigid oversight.
Native French speaker with English fluency.
