Our mission : to simplify international transportation through technology and data ! ✈️
Founded in 2017, Ovrsea is a new generation freight forwarder that uses technology to simplify and optimize international transportation for companies. We support more than 700 companies such as Engie, Vinci, Devialet, Sézane or even Nuxe in more than 60 countries in their international freight transport.
We allow our customers to manage all their transport issues in a few clicks from our web interface, from quotation to invoicing, by digitizing the entire transport tracking experience. We have also developed an in-house platform to facilitate the operational management of our customers’ transportation needs in order to meet their requirements in record time.
Ovrsea, a fast growing company…
With already 120 employees worldwide, we will continue our growth in 2026 as part of a merger with two other freight forwarders, forming a group of more than 800 people across four continents.
Following this merger, we aim to open a new country: Belgium, in order to drive the group’s commercial and operational development in this market.

The Operations team
The Ops Team is at the heart of the OVRSEA customer experience: reactivity, excellence, pedagogy and customer awareness are the leitmotiv ! The Ops team is the main contact for our customers and acts as a link between all our service providers, who have been selected on the basis of quality of service, responsiveness and reliability.
What does it mean to be an Operations Manager at OVRSEA ?
The Operations Manager responds quickly and accurately to customers’ quote requests and works to improve the efficiency of pricing and procurement processes by optimizing tools and workflows.
They communicate with customers in real time throughout the shipment, providing updates on key milestones, anticipating constraints or risks, and proactively suggesting solutions when needed.
They are also in daily contact with selected service providers (typically four to five per import) including a foreign agent, shipping line, customs broker, and carrier, acting as the central point of coordination between all parties involved.
Once the shipment is completed, the Operations Manager is responsible for invoicing and closing the file.
For all these reasons, the Operations Manager plays a central role in OVRSEA’s activity and is a key pillar of the company’s success.
As part of this country launch, the first Operations Manager will play a key entrepreneurial role, leading the setup of our initial operations in Belgium, onboarding local partners, and building strong local operational expertise from the ground up.
