OVRSEA provides its clients with industry expertise and high end-to-end visibility to meet their needs on sea, air, road and rail over all transport stages, from loading to customs declarations.

Founded in 2017, OVRSEA currently supports +700 clients from its offices in Paris, New York, Miami, Barcelona and Milano. With already 120 employees globally, we are continuing our growth in 2024 and hiring people internationally!

About the Finance team:

- The Finance Team is currently composed of 9 people.

- Your direct manager will be Olivier, our VP Finance. You’ll also be working closely for example with Carole our Accounting Lead, and Mathieu our CFO.

- You’ll be the only person dedicated to FP&A, with a lot of autonomy on your scope.

- You’ll be managing one intern in our department.

The role 🤝

As FP&A Manager at OVRSEA, you will face exciting and strategic challenges, including:

- Shaping our Growth Trajectory for 2025 and beyond by navigating global economic uncertainties and the dynamic freight market.

- Supporting the company’s international expansion, ensuring our financial planning adapts seamlessly to new and emerging markets.

- Driving M&A processes, contributing to financial analysis and decision-making for strategic acquisitions.

- Leveraging Pigment, our state-of-the-art FP&A tool, to create a unified and data-driven predictive analysis process across teams.

- Establishing agile recruitment forecasting processes that align with market trends and team performance, in collaboration with Sales, Operations, and HR teams.

What will you do? 🦸

In this role, you will oversee critical aspects of financial planning and analysis, such as:

- Leading the design and execution of the company's annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

- Conducting in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend forecasting, and profitability assessments to inform decision-making.

- Collaborating with managers across functions to gather insights, challenge assumptions, and incorporate them into cohesive financial plans.

- Developing and maintaining financial models to support strategic initiatives and business performance monitoring.

- Preparing and presenting financial reports and dashboards to senior leadership and external stakeholders.

- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying areas for improvement in operational and financial metrics.

- Leading process improvement initiatives for forecasting, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and best practices.

  • We’re seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment:
  • You have 0-2 years of professional experience or impactful internships in finance, consulting, or fast-growth companies.
  • You possess strong analytical skills, are comfortable with numbers, and can easily adapt to tools like Pigment and advanced Excel functionalities.
  • You have a natural ability to connect financial hypotheses to business realities and collaborate with teams across various functions.
  • Your communication skills allow you to explain complex concepts clearly through structured and concise documents.
  • You are rigorous, organized, and proactive, capable of working autonomously while managing multiple priorities.
