OVRSEA is a next-generation multimodal freight forwarder committed to simplifying and optimizing international freight management through technology. They coordinate the transports of 700+ companies across 60 countries, and provide their clients with a unique platform on which their teams can manage their shipments in a simple and transparent way. With already 160 employees globally, they are continuing their growth in 2024 and hiring people internationally!

The Role 🤝

This right-hand internship is a very entrepreneurial one-time opportunity to participate in the early development of a scale-up’s local office and activity.

Within our local fast-growing team, you will work directly with the Head of Sales. Your primary missions will be to support and help frame our development, with the ultimate goal of enabling our Go-to-Market strategy.

This is an entrepreneurial role that requires a combination of skills in data analysis, finance, and project management. You will collaborate with different teams on various projects that are crucial to support OVRSEA's growth in Italy.

Your missions 🎒

👉 Special Projects (40%)

- Work on cross-functional projects that involve multiple teams,

- Assist in implementing process improvements and new tools/systems,

- Adapt Ovrsea's products for the Italian market,

- Support local procurement and supply efforts,

- Contribute to team rebalancing needs (e.g. BDR, Operations, etc.).

👉 Go-to-Market Strategy (30%)

- Conduct research on target markets and customer segments,

- Support Sales team with customer onboarding and account management,

- Track and adapt go-to-market strategy for the Italian market

- Develop marketing materials to support go-to-market strategy

- Prepare performance reviews and presentations for the Executive Committee

👉 Recruitment (30%)

- Source profiles and manage a diverse pipe of candidates,

- Adapt our recruitment strategy to local market,

- Contribute to building out local office culture.

In this very early stage project, we expect a high level of flexibility and autonomy as you might work on very various tasks, which could evolve along the internship.

Your profile 🤗

- You are looking for a 6-month internship based in Milan.

- Native Italian speaker, you are speaking English fluently. Conversational French is a plus.

- You have at least one previous internship with a relevant experience (sales, operations etc.).

- You have a strong analytical and organizational skills.

- You have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and you are curious.
