Sales are the architects of growth at OVRSEA: they build lasting business relationships with our customers β€” importing or exporting companies located in more than 60 countries worldwide.

In a conservative market, our Sales Team’s mission is to convey the value, user-friendliness, and high service standards of our tools and operations team - and to convince customers to trust us with their international shipments.

Disrupting the traditional world of international transportation is not always easy, but the impact on our customers is impressive, with a real positive effect on their daily operations.

What does it mean to be an Account Executive at OVRSEA?Β 

The French Sales team is divided between its central acquisition team (made of business developer BDR and account executives) who are our growth engine and our key entry point to OVRSEA excellency and our regional account owner teams, focusing on developing our networks regionally.

As an Account Executive, you will report to the Head of Sales, Johanna, contributing to the overall growth and success of our clients' portfolios and business.

As an integral part of our sales force, you will co lead strategical prospection with BDRs, conduct product demos, negotiate effectively, close deals, and ultimately create optimal conditions for clients to achieve full potential.

The AE role is pivotal in driving the growth of OVRSEA. You will be a key player in our journey of success!

Your missions:

  • Prospecting and identifying future accounts with a strong potential
  • Conduct engaging and informative product demos: Utilize various strategies and tailor presentations to address specific needs and pain points of prospects, and to showcase the value proposition to potential clients.
  • Deal negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations with clients and close deals in a timely and efficient manner, exceeding set targets.
  • Onboarding:
    • Work closely with the Operations teams to ensure seamless integration for new clients.
    • Identify "champions" within the acquired client portfolio and concentrate efforts to maximize impact.


  • Nurturing: Over a 6-month period, focus on reaching predefined volume targets for accounts and drive the growth client accounts.

  • Reporting and Collaboration:
    • Report progress and insights regularly to the team.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product developments and address client needs.


Sales challenges for 2026

  • Continue our growth, increasing our turnover and hiring more talented people.
  • Support our strategy to go upmarket and help us improve our penetration on top segments of the market.
  • Acquire MidCaps, Enterprise clients, and key account customers across new verticals (food, pharma etc.).
  • Build and manage a client base with an international reach. We have strong retention. Acquisition and upsell are key challenges in 2026

  • Approximately 3 years of experience with a strong track record in client acquisition and B2B sales. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds (e.g. former entrepreneurs, consulting etc.).
  • Strong business acumen and ability to identify and address client needs, with proven negotiation and closing skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
