Job Description

Neurobus is a French DeepTech startup developing next-generation autonomous systems powered by neuromorphic AI and event-based sensing technologies. Our solutions enable ultra-low-power, real-time intelligence for defense, aerospace, drone, and space applications.

We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Head of Product to lead the development and execution of Neurobus' product strategy. This role sits at the intersection of technology, business, and customer needs, ensuring that our products solve real-world problems while creating sustainable competitive advantages.

Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the CTO, you will be responsible for defining product vision, prioritizing development efforts, and translating customer requirements into successful products.

Your Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and execute Neurobus' product strategy across defense, aerospace, drone, and space markets.

  • Develop product roadmaps aligned with customer needs, market opportunities, and company objectives.

  • Identify high-value market opportunities and prioritize investments accordingly.

  • Support long-term product portfolio development.

Customer & Market Understanding

  • Engage directly with customers, partners, and end-users to understand operational needs and pain points.

  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to guide product decisions.

  • Conduct competitive analysis and monitor market trends.

  • Translate market requirements into actionable product specifications.

Product Management

  • Define product requirements, user stories, and feature prioritization.

  • Coordinate product development activities across engineering, business, and external stakeholders.

  • Manage product lifecycle from concept to deployment.

  • Ensure successful delivery of product milestones.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work closely with engineering teams to align technical development with product objectives.

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on positioning, messaging, and go-to-market activities.

  • Support proposal preparation, customer demonstrations, and strategic partnerships.

Product Launch & Growth

  • Define product positioning and value propositions.

  • Support commercialization efforts and customer adoption.

  • Establish KPIs and measure product success.

  • Drive continuous product improvement based on customer feedback and operational performance.

Preferred Experience

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Strategy, Systems Engineering, or Technical Program Management.

  • Experience managing complex technology products from concept to deployment.

  • Strong understanding of both business and technical environments.

  • Experience in DeepTech, aerospace, defense, robotics, AI, autonomous systems, or embedded technologies.

Skills

  • Strong product management and strategic thinking capabilities.

  • Ability to bridge business, customer, and engineering perspectives.

  • Experience defining product roadmaps and requirements.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.

Technical Understanding

A strong understanding of one or more of the following:

You do not need to be the deepest technical expert in the company, but you must be comfortable working closely with highly technical engineering teams and translating technical capabilities into customer value.

Languages

  • Fluent English required.

  • French is strongly preferred.

Recruitment Process

Step 1 – CV Review

Assessment of product leadership experience, industry knowledge, and achievements.

Step 2 – Introductory Interview (45 minutes)

Discussion with the CEO regarding your background, product philosophy, and motivation.

Step 3 – Product Strategy Case Study

Presentation of a product roadmap and market strategy for one of Neurobus' business lines (Drone Autonomy, Space Surveillance, Neuromorphic OS, or Defense Systems).

Step 4 – Leadership & Technical Interview

Discussion with the CTO and leadership team to evaluate product thinking, stakeholder management, and technical understanding.

Step 5 – Reference Checks

Professional references from previous managers, founders, engineering leaders, or customers.
