Strategic account executive


Mercateam has proven in the last 4 years its aptitude to bring a bright answer to new big challenges faced by the industry:

  • an aging workforce

  • increasingly sophisticated and technological machines and data proliferation

which are changing the composition of the manufacturing labor force and how work gets done.

As a result, manufacturers face an urgent imperative to help less experienced workers build knowledge and capabilities, and take advantage of data through collaboration.

Mercateam has built its solution hand in hand with top manufacturers to bring employees into Industry 4.0 and bridge the gap between investments made in machines and in operational workforce and its development.

We have developed a SaaS solution based on the latest technologies for mapping skills on production sites and standardizing know-how. This has led to a number of other key features managed by Mercateam, including:

  • intelligent planning of work assignments under constraints;

  • a training module adapted to the operational workforce;

  • a workforce strategic planning.

Mercateam had a strong commercial track record in the last 3 years and supports over 150 industrial sites, among which LVMH, Andros, Richemond, Dior, LISI, Collins Aerospace, etc… ****in 12 different countries, with his 360 industrial workforce-centric solution.

We are looking for 2 new senior account executives to accelerate our growth in France.

Job Description

Since the creation of Mercateam, our commercial growth has been exponential: every month, tens of top manufacturing sites start using Mercateam to help their employees being much more efficient.

Your role will be to conquer new industrial partners to accelerate Mercateam footprint allover the world.

Accompanied by the Chief Sales Officer, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Shaping and executing account strategies to create new business opportunities for Mercateam in France.

  • Be an account and sector expert, willing to self-source sales opportunities

  • Navigate complex organizations with multiple stakeholders throughout the entire sales process (from prospecting to contract signature)

  • Create value and have an industry consulting approach in the whole sales cycles

  • Ensuring proper and meaningful follow-ups on sales proposals with a result-driven approach until closing

  • Being in charge of the negotiation of contractual provisions from A to Z in order to attract new customers.

  • Representing Mercateam at trade shows and conferences in France and Europe.

As an Account Executive, your impact on Mercateam's growth will be immediate and measurable: you will directly contribute to increase Mercateam ARR, while growing the company's customers portfolio!

Preferred Experience

Being Account Executive requires a wide skills set and a high level of energy:

  • Ambitious and challenger: You have a proven ability to exceed new business sales targets and drive continued revenue growth preferably with Mid and Enterprise Accounts (>100M€ turnover)

  • Experienced: You have strong full and complex sales cycle experience (5+ years of relevant closing experience) preferably in a technology/software environment, demonstrating a successful history of outbound prospecting and closing deals

  • Structured: you understand quickly, you will have to appropriate quickly the challenges faced by major manufacturers

  • Accountable and organized: you move forward methodically, following your prospects to the end

  • Open-minded and leader: You are known for your natural ability to build relationships, your leadership and negotiation skills

  • Tech savvy: You have an extensive experience with sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot, Sales navigator, etc).

  • French native speaker

  • Knowledge of the industrial sector is a plus!

  • Team fit to meet with members of the Merca - team 🙌 - 30 minutes
