Led by Fabien, our VP Product, Joko's Product team groups the passionate individuals behind our users' delight! From brainstorming to development to launch, the Product team's main mission is to turn ideas into reality by working hand-in-hand with the Engineering, Design and Business teams.

🏉 Your scope

As Lead Product Manager, you will have the key role of coordinating multiple Product squads while personally leading strategic projects for the company. You will manage and mentor a team of product managers, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and goals and will report to the VP Product. Your role will involve strategic planning, Product leadership, and driving innovation across multiple product lines.

🎯 What you will do

At Joko, we strongly believe in end-to-end ownership. As Lead Product Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Team Leadership: Mentor, grow, and lead high-performing Product Managers. Contribute to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Roadmap Development: Oversee the creation and execution of product roadmaps across several product lines, ensuring they align with company goals and market needs.

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with product, engineering, marketing, and business teams to ensure smooth product development and launch processes.

  • Product Strategy: Contribute to defining and executing the product strategy, aligning it with the company's mission and business objectives. Lead the development of new product initiatives and the evolution of existing products.

  • Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to inform product decisions and maintain Joko's innovative edge.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics and user feedback to drive product decisions and measure success.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience: You have 5+ years of full-time experience in Product, and including a significant management experience, preferably in a fast-growing tech company or consumer tech startup.

  • Location: You are based in France or Spain.

  • Languages: You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

  • Leadership: You have experience managing and coaching high-performing Product Managers in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Technical Acumen: You have a strong understanding of technology and its applications in product development.

  • Business Acumen: You understand the business side of product management and can align product strategy with overall business goals.

  • Innovation: You have a history of driving innovation and bringing new ideas to market successfully.

  • Communication: You have strong communication skills and can effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiences, from technical teams to C-level executives.

  • Mindset: You have an entrepreneurial mindset, you like challenges, you welcome feedback, and you strive to get better every day

  • Product savvy: You are constantly looking at emerging product trends and testing new mobile apps when they are released

Recruitment Process

  1. Intro call: Quick screening with the Hiring Manager or a recruiter.

  2. Step 1 – Team interview (45 min): Conversation with two Joko team members (could include the Hiring Manager, people from the team you’d join, or colleagues from other teams).

  3. Step 2 – Role-specific assessments

* For non-tech roles: Take-home case study followed by a 45 min debrief. We assess both your output and how you think in real time. The exercise will be relevant to the role (e.g. analysis, strategy, or process design).

* For tech roles: Live technical interviews:

* Coding interview + System design interview

* For research internships, an additional round may involve analyzing and presenting a research paper

  1. Step 3 – Founders interview (45 min): Conversation with two of our founders.

  2. References: Up to five calls with former colleagues or managers.
