Our Finance team

The Finance team ensures Joko’s financial health and long-term success. We manage everything from financial planning and accounting to financing and cash management.

We make sure every euro is put to its best use, working closely with all teams, we provide the insights and structure needed to scale efficiently.

You will report to Quentin, our COO, and your team’s work will be crucial to our ability to grow sustainably.

What you will do

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for a polyvalent, multi-skilled, and highly challenging scope of work.

Your responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, and annual financial reports, as well as annual budget and re-forecasts;

  • In coordination with our external accountant, execute monthly accounting of the P&L and balance sheet, as well as the annual closing and the audit of our financial statements;

  • Manage the company’s tax declarations, and make sure they comply with all legal obligations with regard to VAT, CFE, payslip-related taxes, etc.

  • Contribute to the research of new fundings, both dilutive and non-dilutive (bank and BPI loans, CIR, innovation, international expansion, etc.); Eventually, prepare the due diligence;

  • Along with the Data team, build financial models, run scenario analysis, and provide data analytics to identify areas of risk and opportunity;

  • Make sure we have fully efficient cash management, by monitoring our invoicing and cash collection and spreading the word among the company: cash is king!

  • Along with other teams, be the go-to person when it comes to negotiating contracts with suppliers, and make sure we always have the best deals ever. In general, take any required action to optimize our cost structure.

  • Set up clean and safe financial controls and processes, to prevent the company from fraud and mistakes.

Profil recherché

  • Education: You graduated from a Tier 1 engineering or business school (or equivalent), with a specialization in finance and accounting.

  • Languages: You are fluent in French and English, both written and spoken, as we are expanding internationally.

  • Experience: You have a proven 3+ years of experience in corporate finance, transaction services, private equity, audit, or accounting. Ideally, you already worked in the Tech environment. A double degree in accounting (ex. DCG or DSCG) is a plus.

  • Analytical and modeling skills: You love interpreting complex data, structuring insightful analyses, and building reliable financial or operational models to support strategic decision-making.

  • Stakeholder management: you build strong relationships, communicate effectively with diverse audiences, and think of Finance as a business partner for all functions in the organization.

  • Accounting and key financial metrics understanding: you are able to evaluate the accuracy and integrity of financial statements. You love interpreting and leveraging financial data to support decision-making.

  • Attention to details: You know that the devil is in the details, and you have a talent for spotting flaws when there are.

  • Communication: You have strong written and verbal communication skills, and you are able to explain something complex with simple words.

  • Mindset: You have an entrepreneurial mindset, you like challenges and you like getting hands-on.
