Gatling is a world-renowned French tech start-up, co-founded by a tech and sales team: Stéphane Landelle and Paul-Henri Pillet. With our 2023 & 2024 Goals in mind, we are looking for a Sales engineer who will be in charge of helping Gatling with our Enterprise sales strategy and win big deals!

Job Description

Reporting to Gatling's Chief Revenue Officer, what will you do?

  • Prospect discovery & Qualification: Build relationships with prospects to identify business goals, challenges, and limitations with their current performance testing approach/solutions;

  • Product demonstration: Master Gatling’s product capabilities (features, integrations, architecture, CI/CD, offering, security, etc.) and address a wide variety of business and technical concerns through a customized and differentiated product capability demonstration;

  • Technical workshops: Organize and participate in technical workshops to shape and refine our proposed load testing solution with Lead developers, DevOps engineers, or senior Executive audiences, especially during product evaluations;

  • Consultative selling: Develop comprehensive Gatling solutions that transform the load testing framework of prospects, and shape prospects' planning strategy beyond their current state as supported by relevant proof points from our customer use cases;

  • Technical support: Support the customer success and account management team in responding to user’s technical questions and services requests;

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with Tech, Product, and Marketing teams to deliver on prospect needs to improve product, processes, and customer experiences;

  • Presales process: Strategize with Sales team members to develop & improve the presales process;

  • Market and competitive intelligence: Keep up to date with our solution features and product roadmap, as well as comparisons with our competitors.

Preferred Experience

  • Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, data science, or a similar field.

  • Highly motivated to learn and develop your sales skills in a fast-growing tech company;

  • Dynamic, agile, and always positive;

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and adept at working with multiple stakeholders;

  • Advanced troubleshooting skills;

  • Significant experience as Presales / Solutions Consultant;

  • Strong knowledge of developer tools (and Quality/Performance tools as a Bonus);

  • You speak English fluently. You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English (and French as a Bonus);

  • Well organized and manage your time wisely, always seeking productivity quick wins;

  • You have previous experience in a SaaS company.

  • CRO - Antoine: Antoine recently joined Gatling with the goal of building the best sales team for load testing. He has been passionate about entrepreneurship since 2014, and has worked in sales positions in SaaS companies for 7 years. “Pro” poker player for a long time, Antoine is used to the fast-paced and ever-growing tech environment, bootstrapping businesses with low international brand recognition with many competitors. He also particularly likes strategy games and sports (Basketball and Running) in general.
