About the marketing team 

At Gatling, our marketing team is dynamic and multidisciplinary, covering Product Marketing, Content, Developer Relations, and Growth Marketing.

As a Growth Engineer, you will help define and execute Gatling’s growth strategy to increase ICP-fit leads and improve funnel conversion, contributing directly to our scaling efforts in key developer ecosystems.

Job Description

The opportunity

You’ll be at the forefront of driving growth initiatives, working cross-functionally with marketing and sales to improve lead acquisition, enrichment, and conversion. Your contributions will shape the efficiency of our marketing funnel and launch innovative growth levers for sustained success.

What you’ll do

Strategy & Leadership

• Define and execute a data-driven growth strategy targeting ICP-fit leads.

• Manage and enhance data efficiency between tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, and enrichment tools like Clay.

• Optimize conversion on all public-facing assets, including the core website, community pages, documentation, and learning center.

Growth Marketing Execution

• Build and run a full-year SEA agenda and a global social ads retargeting strategy (LinkedIn, X, Reddit).

• Optimize lead magnet strategy using content assets such as eBooks and customer stories.

Data Management & Enrichment

• Manage buyer intent signals by connecting tools like Amplitude, HubSpot, and Reo.Dev.

• Improve data enrichment for the current lead database, leveraging tools like Clay.

Lifecycle Management

•Design and manage transactional email workflows, including event-based and time-based nurturing sequences.

Preferred Experience

We think you’ll be a great fit if…

Core Requirements:

4-5 years of experience in Growth operations, demand generation, or a related field at a mid-stage start-up or scale-up (Seed-Series C experience).

• Proficient in data and property management on HubSpot and Salesforce.

• Proven experience with marketing automation tools, including lead scoring, lifecycle management, and nurturing.

• Exceptional skills in content production for growth (e.g., transactional emails, landing page copywriting).

• Fluent in English (French is a plus).

Bonus Skills:

• Proven record of success in SEA and Social Ads (LinkedIn, X, Reddit).

• Familiarity with enrichment tools like Clay.

• Knowledge of the tech environment or DevTools.

• Experience with tools like Webflow, Zapier, Semrush, or Amplitude.

Further Information

• Flexible, remote-first model (in France), with occasional monthly onsite team workshops in Paris.

• Salary range: €50,000–€60,000 gross per year, plus a performance-based bonus.
