About

Gatling is the performance testing platform trusted by developers, QA engineers, and enterprises worldwide, with 30+ million downloads to date. We’re known for our robust test-as-code approach, powerful enterprise features, and deep integration into the modern CI/CD pipeline.

Our mission? Help teams ship with confidence, by making load testing accessible, collaborative, and damn effective.

We’re now looking for a Developer Relations to scale our presence, grow our community, and be the bridge between Gatling and the engineers who rely on us.

👥 About the team

You’ll join a global team of 40+ people, passionate about building a product developers love.

You’ll be part of the Marketing team, reporting to our Head of Marketing, and working alongside:

  • A Product Marketer (who turns features into positioning)

  • A Content Manager (who brings our story to life)

  • A Growth Marketer (who connects the dots from clicks to conversions)

We work closely with Product, Sales, and Engineering — and we believe good ideas can come from anywhere.

Job Description

Your mission

  • Represent Gatling externally through blog posts, conference talks, video tutorials, livestreams, podcasts, Reddit, Discord, wherever developers live.

  • Build and grow our community programs, including our new Gatling Ambassador Program (you’ll help recruit, support, and activate them).

  • Create hands-on content (code-first guides, integration walkthroughs, lives demos, etc.) to help users get the most out of Gatling.

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to relay feedback, test new features, and ensure the developer experience is top-tier.

  • Work closely with Marketing to drive awareness, launch campaigns, and be part of our content engine (but in your own developer tone)

  • Engage on open source and help devs get started, contribute, or migrate from other tools

🚀 Why this role rocks

  • Work on a beloved tool with a massive install base — and a huge Enterprise momentum

  • Scale a DevRel function from the ground up, with a ton of ownership and freedom

  • Help shape a growing developer-first brand, with direct impact on product, community, and adoption

  • Collaborate with a small, passionate team that respects tech, writing, design, and developer experience equally

Preferred Experience

What we’re looking for

You don’t need to check every box, but here’s what we’d love:

  • Strong experience as a developer or technical advocate (bonus if you’ve used Gatling, or any performance/load testing tool)

  • Experience creating technical content (blog posts, videos, talks, code samples, etc.)

  • Passion for helping developers succeed, and a natural drive to engage with community

  • A love for explaining complex things simply (you’re a translator, not just a broadcaster)

  • Comfort speaking at meetups/conferences, streaming live, or jumping into a podcast

  • Ability to collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering without friction

  • Bonus: experience building or managing ambassador or advocacy programs

💼 Contract & perks

  • Full-time contract (remote-friendly)

  • Budget for conferences, gear, and dev tools

  • Travel to events

  • Work with a kind, ambitious, and fast-moving team

  • Salary range: €50 000 – €60 000/year

If you live in France you will benefit from :

  • A family complementary health insurance

  • Meal vouchers

  • Paid leave for sick children

Recruitment Process

We aim to provide an inclusive and unbiased recruitment experience. Candidates will meet team members with complementary skills to ensure a well-rounded evaluation:

1. Pre-qualification Call with Chloé (HR Manager) – 30 minutes.

2. Interview 1 with Nathan (Head of Marketing).

3. Fit Call with the our technical content manager

4. Technical Test with Nathan and Antoine (CRO).
