Gatling is a world-renowned French tech start-up, co-founded by a tech and sales team: Stéphane Landelle and Paul-Henri Pillet. We're developing a load-testing solution for applications, to find out if they're going to crash when many people log on at the same time (Black Friday, exam results, tax returns, opening a ticket office, etc.).

Job Description

With our 2023 & 2024 Goals in mind, we are looking for a Business Development Representative who will be in charge of helping Gatling with our international expansion strategy and win new markets!

What will you do?

  • Proactively use research and prospecting tools to obtain qualified meetings with top decision-makers, develop new business leads and enhance existing networks;

  • Prepare for and book pitch meetings to present GATLING to prospects;

  • Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products/services;

  • Coordinate with assigned account executives to qualify opportunities and build long-term trusting relationships;

  • Strategize with team members to innovate & improve the business development process;

  • Conduct business development best practices with email, phone, and social media using engagement and enablement tools to connect with prospects;

  • Work closely and collaboratively with the sales team to develop and implement appropriate prospect communication plans;

  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans.

Preferred Experience

  • You are highly-motivated to learn and develop your sales skills in a fast-growing company;

  • You are dynamic, agile and always positive;

  • You have a first experience in sales / business development (SDR, BDR, BD) with quota carrying;

  • You like outreach sequences such as cold calling and emailing;

  • You speak English fluently. You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French;

  • You are well organized and manage your time wisely, always seeking for productivity quick wins;

  • You have previous experience in using sales engagement and acceleration software (preferred);

  • You have previous experience in a SaaS company (preferred).

FURTHER INFORMATION

  • Location: Paris

  • Between 2 and 3 years of experience

  • Base salary: ~ 36 000 - 42000 € /year

  • Compensation plan: competitive package

  • Luncheon vouchers

  • Transport card reimbursement (50%)

  • Possibility of a fixed sum of 200 euros per year to equip your workspace at home.

  • Type of contract: 218-day package

  • Compensation plan: Available for Sales Engineer, between 5K and 10K
