We are looking for a skilled Scientist with experience in Skin Tissue Engineering to join our Applied Research team. Your knowledge in producing and characterizing Skin Tissue in vitro models will be needed to fulfill your missions at Faircraft. You will be part of a highly skilled and interdisciplinary team of world-class scientists working in the development of our cultivated leather.

Job Description

Expertise is required in the specific field of cellular biology and tissue engineering of the skin with > 2 years of experience in academic and/or industrial research.

We are looking for a candidate familiar with the manipulation of cells present in the skin, their physiology and mechanisms. Your scientific and technical knowledge and skills will allow you to design, manufacture, and characterize skin models using techniques issued from tissue engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and development in skin tissue engineering.

  • Collaborate with inter-disciplinary teams to develop and characterize tissue engineering in-vitro skin models.

  • Technology transfer and quality control of manufacturing and characterization methods for the production of tissues engineering skin models.

  • Maintain records of experimental results and contribute to the writing protocols and SOPs.

  • Scientific and technological monitoring. Presentation of findings and results within the Applied Research team.

Preferred Experience

  • A PhD in cellular, molecular, or similar field with a minimum of 2 years of postdoctoral experience in Skin Tissue Engineering in academic and/or industrial research.

  • Ability to work with inter-disciplinary teams, projects and work environments.

  • Ambition, curiosity, and scientific excellency are essential for effectively carrying out your projects.

  • The ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
