Escape is an automated security testing tool that helps developers to secure their GraphQL APIs during the development life cycle. By simulating cyberattacks based on Machine Learning, Escape is able to detect security flaws before they reach production.
Founded in 2020, the company already raised $1,5 Million notably being backed by two french entrepreneurs who created NASDAQ-listed companies: Olivier Pomel (CEO of Datadog) and Renaud Deraison (CTO of Tenable.io). Escape has successfully positioned itself as one of the most promising European cybersecurity start-up in winning the Grand Défi Cyber delivered by BPI France. Meanwhile, the start-up also received the X-Grant Silicon Valley Prize that fostered its entry in the international competition game as a major security provider.
The founders are two graduated students from X-HEC (CTO) and ENSTA-HEC (CEO) who both finished their studies in the United States at the University of California, Berkeley. The rest of the team is composed of passionate cybersecurity lovers who come from the most prestigious French Universities: École Polytechnique, Télécom Paris, ENSTA Paris, Sciences Po Paris…
