À propos

At Elevo, we believe in a more human world of work.

We also think that a well designed software can help induce a positive shift in how companies think about people management and employee experience as a whole.

Historically, it’s been backwards: HR software is focused on payroll and finance in a clunky, disengaging way. We believe in delivering a management framework that works, enabled by a smooth, beautiful software to make people management work better.

More info on Elevo:

  • We are inspired by the best practices we have witnessed first hand in our past experiences in bigger tech companies such as Apple, Google or Criteo.
  • Elevo now counts 300+ customers and keep growing exponentially with well known companies such as Aircall, JCDecaux, Picard, Audika, etc.
  • Very high customer satisfaction c.f. our Trustfolio page (in French)
  • Team of 30+ people

Descriptif du poste

Elevo is looking for an Engineering Team Lead (ETL) to lead one of our squads as a hands-on team leader. You’ll work closely with a Product Manager (PM), Product Designer (PD) and 2 Software Engineers (SWE), with support from our DevOps.

As a hands-on ETL, you’ll spend around 70% of your time coding while guiding the squad through technical decision-making, delivery, and team coordination.

More specifically, you will:

  • Set priorities with the PM, align with design, and ensure delivery follows the highest quality standards.

  • Drive technical architecture for backend and frontend systems.

  • Manage 2 software engineers, supporting their growth, feedback cycles, and day-to-day coordination.

  • Own the operational health of your squad’s scope, by contributing to monitoring, observability, and post-mortem routines.

  • Participate in recruitment and onboarding as we continue to grow the R&D team.

  • Code, pair, review, share, etc.

Examples of what you might work on:

  • Collaborate with your PM to redesign a product workflow based on user interviews and usage data.

  • Lead the development of exciting new features, from early architecture choices to production rollout.

  • Scale up our reporting capabilities, improve SQL performance, and make data actionable for users.

  • Drive architectural decisions for new integrations or scalable data flows between internal and external systems.

  • Work with our DevOps to add monitoring to a business-critical feature and resolve a production bottleneck.

Today, Elevo’s R&D team is structured into 3 cross-functional squads, each with the same core setup. As ETL, you’ll be responsible for one of them.

  • Is hands-on, loves shipping code, and knows when to favor pragmatism over perfection.

  • Can make decisions, set direction, and bring clarity to ambiguous problems.

  • Is comfortable with our stack or quick to adapt (Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, React, Tailwind).

  • Collaborates well with PMs, Designers, and other stakeholders.

  • Brings a positive attitude, curiosity, and drive to help others grow.
