At Corma our mission is to become the world’s leading unified and automated IT agentic platform to revolutionize how businesses benefit and use software. Our Engineering team is at the heart of innovation and evolution of our solution. We are responsible for the design, development, and continuous improvement of new features, ensuring to offer an exceptional user experience while meeting the highest technical requirements. You will work within a dynamic team composed of our CTO, eight experienced engineers (50+ years of combined experience), and two interns.

We are seeking an exceptional AI Research Engineer to drive innovation and stay at the forefront of AI advancements. By understanding new models, the latest papers and research, you will help deliver the amazing products to the world, build on state-of-the-art technology. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure our AI solutions are reliable, interpretable, and steerable, aligning with industry standards and best practices.

  • Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest AI models, papers, and industry trends. Conduct in-depth research to identify and evaluate new AI technologies and methodologies.

  • Model Development: Design, develop, and optimize AI models using state-of-the-art techniques and frameworks to drive actionable insights and customer value.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into our products and services, ensuring they meet the highest technical standards and industry best practices.

  • Experimentation: Conduct experiments to improve the performance and accuracy of our AI systems. Develop and execute experimental protocols to validate new ideas and approaches.

  • Product Mindset: Translate research findings into practical applications. Ensure that AI solutions are reliable, interpretable, and steerable, aligning with our product goals and customer needs.

You are our ideal candidate if you… 🤩

  • Phd or equivalent in a MINT or related subject.

  • Background in research and previous experience working in a lab.

  • Experience in AI Engineering and data science roles, with a proven track record of delivering impactful AI solutions and work on LAM is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and present your results to technical and non-technical people.

  • You are able to navigate the full MLOps technical stack, with a focus on architecture development and model evaluation and usage. Among others, we work on Python, MySQL, AWS, PostHog and always look out for the latest most cutting-edge tool to make us more efficient.

Recruitment Process

  • A first telephone exchange with Samuel our CTO - 30 min

  • A technical test interview with team member - 90 min

  • Interview with our lead engineer to challenge you on your technical test and describe the challenges of the team - 45 min

  • A culture fit interview with current members of the team and founders to give you an overview of our rituals, methods, and get you on board with our vision - 30min to 1h
