Established in 2020, Dfns is a cybersecurity startup operating within decentralized finance (DeFi). From our office in Paris, we are building an API for digital asset security. More specifically, Dfns provides safe, cloud-native custody as a service to help companies secure cryptos & tokens.

Job Description

Dfns is a distributed across Europe and USA information security company. We are building next-generation custody as a service, crypto-asset management as a service, and other products to help fuel the next 10 to 20 years of financial innovation in crypto and cash markets.

We are looking for motivated and talented engineers to be hired in France, United Kingdom, Bulgaria, and United States.

What will you do:

  • Help design customer-friendly APIs.
  • Work with customers, and their employees to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Write tests. Not just unit tests, we test features, security, scalability, resilience, deployability.
  • Help maintain an internal set of tools.

Preferred Experience

You will need:

  • Experience with Node.js and TypeScript 1+ years.
  • Experience with Rust, Go, or C++ 3+ years
  • Experience with testing software 4+ years.
  • Experience with Functional Programming and Object Oriented Programming.
  • Understanding how different blockchains operate.
  • Experience in working with cryptographic primitives, elliptic curves, and signatures.
  • Optional: Technical writing skills.
  • Optional: Customer workshopping skills.

Recruitment Process

Between 2-3 interviews which will happen with 1 - 1.5 weeks.
