Job Description

The job:

As Marketing & Communications Manager, you will work with the founders and the Sales Manager to define, optimise and implement the marketing & communications strategy of Symaps.io.

Your role will encompass:

  • Inbound marketing and animation of social networks: creation of content (survey, computer graphics, study, digital tool, newsletters etc.) likely to trigger interactions (social media, relay to other sites, press coverage).
  • Workshops to boost our acquisition (SEO, Adwords, Facebook Ads, Emailing).
  • Management of our landing pages and site (graphics and content): definition of needs with our developers/graphic designers.
  • Physical events: organisation of events to increase Symaps.io's presence and establish us as an expert in our field.
  • As the boss of marketing and communications, you have the freedom to be creative and implement your own plans.

Preferred Experience

Ideal profile:

  • You are proficient in both oral and written English.
  • You are practical and use your time and energy efficiently.
  • You are autonomous.
  • You are comfortable in working extensively with remote users and teams: systematic usage of writing for communicating with teammates, in the clearest and most detailed form; esp. through our project management tools (Clubhouse) and other apps we’re using internally for documenting and brainstorming (google drive)
  • You are happy to communicate and share your own new ideas, whilst feeling comfortable asking questions that you may believe are trivial or odd.
  • You want to join an ambitious team and have plans for creating something big.
  • You are creative, audacious and want to 'move fast and break things'.
