STATION F is the biggest startup campus in the world, backed by Xavier Niel. Open since June 2017 in Paris, we house 1000+ startups. We pride ourselves on being a unique, international, all-inclusive startup space where startups come first. The 34,000 sq meter building also houses a makerspace, an auditorium and other event spaces, restaurants and bars, a pop-up store, on-site services, a post-office and partner offices and programs. In addition, living amenities for 600 entrepreneurs are being built in Ivry sur Seine, 10 minutes away from Station F.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

We are seeking a legal officer to handle all legal aspects of our structure, working closely with our all the members of the team and our lawyers. This is a unique opportunity to handle large responsibilities within a small team. We are all passionate about entrepreneurship and working in a start-up friendly environment, within a unique place and project.

This role will be responsible for overseeing all the legal aspects of our business, reporting directly to the operations manager. In addition, some legal work with our holding company will be required as well.

RESPONSABILITIES

• All aspects of the contracting cycle including negotiation, draft and finalization of several contracts related to the company's activities (commercial contracts, service agreements, partnerships, real estate …), in French and English.

• Providing legal advice to all the team members on legal issues and working with our lawyers when necessary.

• Working with various types of tenants (startups, restaurant/café, service provider, public serice…) to establish all agreements and contracts.

• Processing legal documents and performing research to stay up-to-date on all current laws

• Updating and reviewing current contracts and following up their termination date, renewal etc…

• Assisting the operational team in various legal areas and in all tasks taking into consideration applicable legal and regulatory requirements;

This position will evolve over the long term to include managing more legal aspects of future projects of the company.

What we are looking for

• A Master’s Degree in French law

• Minimum 2 years experience in a law firm, ideally specializing in tenancy agreements

• Previous experience drafting contracts and agreements

• Pays attention to EVERY. little. DETAIL.

• An efficient multitasker who can handle multiple projects at the same time

• Bilingual French, English mandatory. Third language a plus
