In 2022: Shipup announced that Global Blue had acquired a majority stake in the company while staying an independent structure.

Job Description

As the UK Business Expansion, you will play a pivotal role in driving our international growth strategy in the UK. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our global expansion efforts and shape the company's success in this key market.

Your responsibilities will include shaping and executing account strategies to create new business opportunities for Shipup with Antoine, the sales manager responsible for the UK & I region. To excel in this role, you should be a true entrepreneur willing to self-source sales opportunities and navigate complex organizations with multiple stakeholders throughout the entire sales process.

Your missions

  • Launching the new sales initiative in the UK with Antoine, the sales manager responsible for the UK & I region by establishing a robust sales pipeline using various prospecting methods (e.g., LinkedIn outreach, participation in networking events).

  • Engaging with potential clients through the entire sales cycle, from prospection to closing.

  • Demonstrating an ability to multithread and access C-level executives.

  • Communicating and demonstrating our value proposition and getting deep into Shipup’s technical product knowledge.

  • Collaborating with the marketing and sales enablement teams to organize targeted events in the UK and develop sales and marketing materials to bolster the sales initiative.

  • Collaborating with the French sales team to exchange market insights, identify new business opportunities and improve sales practices.

Preferred Experience

You could be a good fit if

  • You have strong full and complex sales cycle experience (5+ years of relevant closing experience) preferably in a technology/software environment, demonstrating a successful history of outbound prospecting and closing deals within the UK market.

  • You have a proven ability to exceed new business sales targets and drive continued revenue growth preferably with SMB+ and Mid-Market accounts.

  • You have an extensive experience with sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot, Outreach).

  • You have the willingness to work, sell, and collaborate in a fully remote environment (although you will be invited to our Paris office on numerous occasions to coordinate and receive support from the entire sales team).

  • You are known for your entrepreneurial spirit and your resilience and relentless drive for success, while also being open to learning and continuous growth.

It would be nice if you also have:

  • Previous experience in opening a new line of business or entering a new country.

  • Experience in e-commerce and B2B SaaS.

  • An existing network in the UK.
