That is why it pains us to see manufacturing companies struggle with their quality. Throwing away parts by the thousands, or missing the needle in the haystack, letting faulty products slip through their tired eyes, despite all their efforts. We decided to solve this major headache of theirs, by building the required technology and making it accessible to everyone.

Leveraging machine learning, our platform allows customers to:

  • detect faulty parts on a production line, automatically, in real-time,

  • know and understand quality issues at a large scale,

  • dynamically improve the quality of the production.

Job Description

As Product Manager, you will define Scortex’s product within your scope, and coordinate actions across the organization to enable its success.

Our main challenges are currently:

  • making a complex technology easily accessible to people working on production lines,

  • pushing the boundaries of our current product regarding performance,

  • expanding the addressable use cases and value delivered to our customer segments.

To achieve your mission, you will have a lot of autonomy, while still benefitting from a clear strategic context and adequate coaching from your manager.

Over the first year, you will:

  • quickly acquire a deep knowledge of our customers, users and product,

  • develop a fine understanding of the global product strategy and be able to decline it successfully for your scope,

  • collaboratively manage the product throughout its lifecycle: framing, discovery, delivery,

  • make sure that your team is maximizing impact at all times, in particular by clearly defining and measuring success.

You will progressively develop a holistic view of the product. With the product designer and tech lead, you will shape its evolutions, by defining features addressing new value propositions. We expect you to contribute to the product vision and strategy.

Key Skills

  • Ability to make things happen around you.

  • Great listening skills and empathy.

  • Very at ease with multi-project management.

  • Ability to frame the right questions, evaluate multiple aspects of a problem, generate solutions and simulate possible outcomes.

  • Crystal clear written and oral communication, in French and English.

  • Curiosity for the manufacturing industry and machine learning.

  • Technical background (e.g.: Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics).

Bonus

  • Track record of usually making the right product decisions in a context of major ambiguity.

  • Experience working in autonomous cross-functional teams, with ownership over business objectives.
