Job Description

nBold is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer for its core platform. We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer who understands how to create and develop both intuitive user interfaces and advanced micro-services. The candidate will care deeply about automated testing, maintainable code, and improving software engineering for those around them.

The right candidate for this role will:

  • Be proficient in developing front-end functionality for web applications in React and JavaScript, and back-end functionality as micro-services using Node.js and TypeScript
  • Be dedicated to writing maintainable, well-tested code, with modern best practices
  • Have the ability to develop our long-term technical stack strategy
  • Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a daily release cycle
  • Be effective at requirements gathering, implementation, testing, and maintenance

Position Expectations:

  • Be an expert resource for user interface and micro-services development for the team
  • Write production-grade SAAS apps
  • Ensure a high level of service quality throughout our systems

The Full-Stack Engineer will be successful in this role when they:

  • Design and create new user interfaces and micro-services
  • Propose and design novel user features to make our product easier to understand

Preferred Experience

  • 3+ years proven experience as a full stack developer or similar role
  • Extensive knowledge of frontend and backend technologies
  • JavaScript, we use both Node.js and React
  • Feels at home with source code management with github
  • Familiar with cloud providers like AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform
  • Embrace secure programming practices
