Product Manager - CDI


Monk provides visual expertise through Computer Vision and Deep Learning algorithms. Today, the AI is able to detect and classify damage on any vehicle, with photos taken by a smartphone. The company is already working with international leading players, such as our parent company ACV Auctions (USA), but also CAT logistics (Europe) Getaround (France), Autobiz (Europe) or Hgreg (Canada).

Monk won the X-Silicon Valley award, was named in the TOP 30 of Station F and won the Coup de Coeur of the Finance-Innovation award and has just been acquired by ACV Auctions after only 2 and a half years. The team is young and dynamic from the best French research labs and engineering schools.

Job Description

Missions :

As a Product Manager you will be joining the Monk Product Team alongside with the PO, and the CPO.

Your missions will be :

• Work closely with business team, delivery team and attend customer discoveries to understand the clients’ need and understand how to improve the user experience and deliver as much value as possible
• Work closely in a technical environment to frame, investigate and validate new features
Partner with all the Feature team's stakeholders to ensure perfect alignment on problems to solve and how.
Prioritize your user needs & product features
Shape pitches, write specifications (user stories) for new features or to improve existing ones
Responsible of Q&A (of the fact that the feature that is delivered corresponds to what was planned initially and effectively brings value to customer)
Own the roadmap project delivery, feature team rituals, organize relevant activities and establish key product management processes

  • Databases: SQL, Postgresql, Sqlalchemy, noSQL, ETL.
  • ML: Python, Torch, ClearML
  • Infrastructure: GCP, Kubernetes, CircleCI
  • Backend: Python, Flask, Rabbitmq, OpenAPI
  • Interface: JS, React Native, React, TP

Preferred Experience

Skills :

  • Excellent analytical capabilities
  • Experience delivering complex projects involving scientists, engineers and product managers within tight time frames while meeting quality and cost targets.
  • Leadership and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving mindset
  • Deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills as well as the ability to multitask on various projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (writing sample required).
  • Fluency in spoken and written English

Profile :

  • 1-4 years of experience in a similar position
  • Master Degree in Business or Engineering School
  • Experience with Machine Learning.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with various teams.
  • Experience working in an enterprise technology setting.
  • Having a project management certificate is a bonus.
