In 2022: Garantme has the ambition to become THE leader in rent guarantee solutions for Real Estate Professionals

In 2021, Garantme covered 25 000 rentals and is aiming to double this number in 2022 to empower Real Estate Professionals and enable to protect the assets of their clients and provide them with the best rental experience.

By covering 60 000 rentals in 2022, we aim to welcome 1,500 new real estate professionals in our partner network. To achieve this goal we plan to:

  • Recruit 50 new team members in 2020 across all teams
  • Deploy our SaaS solution to all of our partners
  • Build 2 new solutions: An application management system and a booking calendar to simplify the day to day operations of our partners

Descriptif du poste

The role and the structure of our engineering team

The engineering team designs and builds technical solutions for our partners and clients.

This team consists of:

  • 1 CTO
  • 1 Head of Engineering
  • 14 Fullstack developpers
  • 8 QA (including 4 Automation Engineers)

Collaboration with the Product Team

We use Scrum with 2-week sprints where we tackle both Discovery and Delivery tasks.

The Discovery allows us to qualify and quantify the job to be done while Delivery (Scrum) allows us to maintain a high production velocity.

The team is split in two squads, one tackles the insurance lifecycle and the other tackles the rental lifecycle.

Each squad contains at least two Product Managers, one Product Designer, 4 to 6 developers, and two testers.

  • Backend: Node.js, GraphQL, TypeScript
  • Frontend: React.js
  • Database: PostgreSQL
  • Infrastructure: AWS

Your Mission

Participate in Discovery and Delivery within a squad to ship the best solutions to our clients. Help mentor and grow more junior engineers. Provide feedback to improve the team’s performance and quality.

Discovery

  • Work closely with the Product team to conceptualize solutions that deliver maximum value to our clients

Delivery

  • Implement tasks and user stories
  • Guarantee a well-documented code and the implementation of best practices
  • Participate in code review
  • Participate in the SCRUM rituals

Profil recherché

  • At least 5 years of experience in a full-stack team
  • At least 2 years of experience in Node.js
  • One significant experience in micro-service architectures
  • Good knowledge of Nest.js is a plus
