We created Chift in April 2022 after signing our first customers. In 2023, we were selected among the "Future 40" best companies of Station F. Now, we just closed a funding round with international investors.

We have amongst the biggest European fintechs as clients and we aim at being the European leader in our field. 🦄

Currently, the team consists of 11 people, we need reinforcements to accelerate our growth !

Our objective is to be the European leader in business & financial software integration. We will be +20 people in 2024. This is a unique opportunity to join an early stage startup as one of the first employees.

We are highly motivated, but there are still many projects to complete, improve, or start. This is an incredible opportunity to gain a unique experience in a fintech company as one of the early co-worker. Your actions will have a direct impact on the company and the product used by our clients. Depending on your skills and the strategy, we will prioritize the many projects you will be working on.

👨‍💻 Your responsibilities:

You will have a key role in our company as you will be at the center of developing our back-office platform that helps our clients to monitor the use of Chift. We are looking for someone who is willing to take on responsibilities with a focus on our platform (front & back). You should be front-end minded, having an experience in developing the best UI components from scratch while working in a backend should not scare you.

Here is an overview (not exhaustive) of your responsibilities:

  • Master and understand our various tech components.

  • Design and implement the best UI/UX solution based on client’s requirements

  • Think ahead about the long-term architecture of the solution and follow the best practice in designing your solution

  • You are contributing in the creation of effective customer journeys and a great customer experience

  • Responsible from A-to-Z in designing platform features

  • Possibility to grow as a team lead

Profil recherché

🔎 Profile sought:

  • Graduate in Computer Science or Self-taught.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience. Startup experience in a fintech is a BIG plus.

  • Technical knowledge:

    • Knowledge of NextJS (Front) & NodeJS (Back).
    • Knowledge of SQL is a must
    • Knowledge of Python is a PLUS!
    • Familiarity with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and new technologies or standards (e.g., Docker, Oauth2, …).

  • Beyond technical knowledge, a keen interest in business logic is highly recommended.

  • Thirst for knowledge; you love challenges and are eager to learn new things. Moreover, you want to understand the different technologies used to have a good overall view of the solution.

  • Startup enthusiast: the environment is more rock and roll than a corporate job. You need to be open-minded, resourceful, curious, and enjoy collaboration.

  • Having an ownership and "doer" spirit: the small size of the team will allow you to take the lead on different subjects.

  • Language:

    • French native
    • English and Dutch are always a plus.

📔 Technical case study: to assess your technical skills.

👨‍💻 Interview with other Chifters: On-site meeting with other founders Gauthier and Matthieu, as well as an informal exchange with 2 other team members.
